Play‘n’Learn Australia is a division of Play‘n’Learn Ltd. Play‘n’Learn is a New Zealand family-owned company that has been committed to manufacturing NZ-made furniture and sourcing high-quality educational resources for early childhood services and primary schools for over two decades. Customer-centric, world-class service has allowed us to expand from a sole proprietorship in 1997, to where we are today; an industry-leading early learning environment design and fit-out company, operating in both Australia and New Zealand.
Our Story
Now in 2023, Play'n'Learn Australia (& Play'n'Learn NZ) is a passionate team of 20, growing our products, projects, and capability into export markets.
Our team is a diverse bunch, with many unique skillsets that support our client success. We have a dedicated product & project design team, industry-specialist support staff (Early-Intervention Therapists, Qualified Teachers), and an energetic and efficient operations & manufacturing team.
Our processes are continually improving through feedback provided from our staff and clients alike. With our foundations built on solid relationships and with substantial and continued investment in Our People and our business, we will continue to grow as we deliver amazing customer experiences through living our values and helping clients to develop creative minds.

Our Story
Our foundations began in 1997 in Wellington. With a small team of two we began working with educators and the early to the secondary education sector to show them a better way to develop creative minds. At the end of 2003, we moved into new, larger premises to allow for significant increases in our ability to inventory inspirational educational resources.
As our position in the market and our direction became more focused, our capabilities, and our team, grew. Throughout the 2010's we set up & continually reinvested in our own manufacturing facility, allowing Play‘n’Learn to produce customised furniture for our clients, all manufactured in-house for greater quality.
Our manufacturing capabilities were further expanded during the trying times of COVID-19, seeing Play'n'Learn opening of a new in-house steel & timber furniture production facility next to our offices in Wellington in late 2020.
